When you open a demo or real account on Metatrader you will be given the account number and 2 passwords. The first password is used to log in as a regular user for trading. The second password is called the investor password. It is a read-only password used to log in for observation purposes. You cannot close, edit or initiate any trades, but you can see real, genuine trading history and even save your account statement to your computer. Investor passwords are often used by Forex signal services, account managers.
Once you have the Investor Password you can copy/duplicate trades to your account. You need to install and open 2 Metatrader accounts on your computer. Account no. 1 with the investor password will act as a server and account no. 2 will be the customer account. Now you need to run special software called Local Trade Copier on both platforms and all trades from account no. 1 will be copied to account no.
The LTC software has many features, you can select different lot sizes on the client side, choose which currency pairs to trade or not to trade. The software is compatible with any broker.
LTC software is compatible with VPS. It can be used to copy few Metatrader accounts to 1 VPS or to multiple VPS. This can also be used for account management. You can copier to many accounts and trade only 1 account: server/master accounts. The copier can and will copy trades opened manually or by another Expert Advisor.
