University of Calgary International Student Scholarship and Awards
The University of Calgary Graduate Scholarship is open to international students once they are eligible to apply for these awards under the scholarship sponsor.
Overseas graduate students from various regions or countries, regardless of tribe, race, or continent, are eligible for many of the scholarships controlled by the University of Calgary Graduate Scholarship Office.
These scholarships are competitive and based on an applicant’s academic and academic performance as well as other criteria. It is very important that you read all the details on the eligibility requirements and follow up on applying for education for any award you are applying for.
Scholarship key points
The following are the key points of the Calgary Awards and Scholarships:
1. International students can apply for this scholarship following the final submission of the admissions application form and receive a University of Calgary student number.
2. Students are not automatically eligible for graduate awards or scholarships; meanwhile, they must follow the scholarship application procedures very well.
3. Calgary scholarship value ranges from $1,000 to $40,000 and covers different fields of study.
There are multiple scholarships for international students, below is the list of other available awards.
This award is open to students conducting research in the area of genomics, information and communication technology (ICT), metabolomics, nanotechnology, proteomics, regulomics or transcriptomics.
Alber Innovates Award Value: The award is worth $26,500 for the Master’s program (up to 2 years) and $31,500 for the Doctoral program (up to 4 years).
Competition for graduation prizes
The Graduate Award Competition Scholarships are also open to international students seeking an award. Their offer is valued at up to $36,000. They are awarded through the annual Graduate Award Competition:

To be eligible for the award a student must have academic performance in the first grade average. They must bid at the university that issued the transcripts in the previous 2 completed years of study or full-time equivalent. Each student must submit only one application. They will announce successful applicants between April and June for various awards and scholarships.
